Hipster Daddy-O and the Handgrenades return to the stage after a 10-year absence for a FREE, one-night reunion show on the indoor stage at Club Congress to celebrate their 21 year anniversary! Voted Best Live Performance (1998) and Best Swing Band five years in a row by the Tucson Area Music Awards (1998-2002), their music has been featured in the Jim Carrey movie “Me Myself and Irene” as well as the 2000 Summer Olympics. Joining them for this special event are 2016 KFMA Day winners, The Endless Pursuit.
Scottish indie-pop legends The Trashcan Sinatras hit the road for a 6 week acoustic tour in North America! “One Night, Two Albums” will see the three piece lineup (Frank, John and Paul) play albums “Cake” and “I’ve Seen Everything” in their entirety, plus a selection of songs from the rest of the band’s catalog.
Local songwriter Jacob Acosta’s upcoming release, Desert Sounds, is a record about Arizona’s culture, ecology, history, and the stories and folklore he holds dear to his heart. Joining him for the release celebration are local favorites Leila Lopez and her killer band, as well as Jillian and the Giants.
