Reyli Barba most commonly known as Reyli, is a well-known Mexican singer-songwriter who has reached staggering success in the past few years all over Latin America and the Latin U.S.. He is also a successful composer and has written songs for artists such as Alejandro Fernández and Beyoncé Knowles.
Reyli is a former member of Elefante, a band which he led until 2003, when he set out to release his debut solo album. This album, titled En la Luna (On the Moon), sold well, and “Amor Del Bueno” reached the top of the Mexican charts, charted in the U.S. Hot Latin Tracks and became a global Latin hit.
Young Hunter, one of Tucson’s favorite and most talented local acts, are sadly taking “an indefinite break”. Instead of touring the traditional way, going from town to town night after night, Charlie Faye decided to live in 10 different cities over 10 months, putting together a band of local musicians in each place, playing shows, recording a new song, and getting to know the music community. She made Tucson the first city on this “slow tour” and followed up her month here with stints in in Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, Boulder, CO, Shreveport, LA, Burlington, VT, Milwaukee, WI, Nashville, TN, Asheville, NC, and Woodstock, NY.
The Jons completed their debut album, Wine at the Hilltop, in the fall of 2002 and kept busy playing at many of the popular bars and venues around Tucson. After a successful west coast tour, The Jons began to attract bigger venues and audiences enamored by their blazing horn section and ability to rock in both English and Spanish at any given moment. With a complete band of 6 members and an arsenal of original music, The Jons have formed a cohesion that has allowed incredible accomplishments.

Devendra Banhart is a bearded, oddball American singer-songwriter most closely associated with the freak-folk uprising that captured the public’s imagination in 2004. Though Banhart did much to cultivate the sense of a ‘movement’ through Golden Apples of the Sun, a compilation he assembled for Arthur magazine in 2004, the name rankled him.
