Don't Worry, DJ Sid the Kid will throw in the occasional New Order or Prince hit to help smooth the transition. LET'S PARTY LIKE IT'S 1999.

Dead Rider (Todd Rittmann of U.S. Maple)

Todd Rittmann made his name with US Maple, a band that was criminally underrated when they first broke onto the scene with their landmark 1995 album, "Long Hair in Three Stages," who's angular guitar riffs went on to undeniably influence EVERYTHING that happened in indie rock in the decades that followed. Rittmann's new band Dead Rider has shown that his inventive guitar work, seconded only by the taut musicianship of The Jesus Lizard's Duane Denison, can still get us into a groove. Their new album, "Crew Licks," is out soon on the incomparable Drag City Records.
