Founded in Tucson, AZ by song writers Ryen Eggleston & Dimitri Manos (also a member of Dr. Dog) in 2001, the ‘BooTs continue to churn out records and explore new frontiers of sound & song through an inventive weaving of artistic production & music forms.

With an acclaimed & ecclectic live show & often changing roster, their warped and fractured mixture of psychedelic rock, folk and country combines stylistic modes as bizarre and varied as their lyrical meanderings to produce a whimsical ramshackle of fractured pop. The Golden BooTs themselves refer to their music as “Alt-alt Country Crumbly Western Gothic-Americana Falling Rock”

They have toured the US with Dr. Dog, Cave Singers, Jason Anderson, Magnolia Electric Company, and thanks to their great live-show and local following are one of the go-to openers for large indie shows in the Tucson and Phoenix area including……Calexico, Calvin Johnson, Little Wings, Ian Sevonious, Ian Moore, Cat Power & others.

The Preservation is a blend of vocal harmonies, driving guitars, bouncy pianos and an amalgam of American music that has come to define Austin bands in the past decade. With a repertoire that is clearly influenced by early 60′s girl groups and chamber pop as well as the psych and garage rock from that era, the band also focuses on composition and songwriting that creates a modern sound. The band
