The buzz that is starting to surround new Tucson act Ohioan is growing and is more than justified.  The group is tastefully bridging indie/folk with a droning psychedelia that has not been heard by this desert town, but somehow seems right at home.  Driving, haunting buildups swell into folk rock breakdowns in a dynamic set that is both captivating and pleasurable.

Golden Boots is the musical project of Ryen Eggleston and Dimitri Manos. Based in Tucson, Arizona Golden Boots has been recording and playing live since 2003. The acclaimed and eclectic live show, which always features primary songwriters Manos and Eggleston backed up by a varied and cast of artists and friends, Their warped and fractured mixture of psychedelic rock, folk and country has drawn comparisons to Alex Chilton, The International Submarine Band, GODZ, & Beck. Combining stylistic modes as bizarre and varied as the lyrical meanderings,a whimsical ramshackle of fractured pop.

Golden Boots has toured with Magnolia Electric Co., Dr. Dog, Cave Singers and Jason Anderson, as well as opening for Deerhoof, Cat Power, Dirty Projectors, Fruit Bats, the Meat Puppets, M. Ward, Vic Chesnutt, Man Man and Neil Hamburger.
