The Hotel Congress is famous for its concerts and events.
With over 1000 events annually, there is no shortage of fun to be had.
But there are five signature events that happen every year that form the backbone of the Hotel Congress calendar. Take note of the dates and then check our calendars for details as the time approaches for each of them. Here they are!
Dillinger Days
January.
Celebrate all things John Dillinger. The Dillinger Gang was famously caught while staying at the Hotel Congress. Enjoy period costumes and cars. There are live action re-enactments, and even a speakeasy. Well I’ll be damned…
Agave Heritage Festival
April.
The agave, or Century Plant, is a staple of Tucson and the surrounding borderlands of the Sonoran Desert. Join us as we recognize the importance of the agave in the Tucson community. An emphasis is put on smaller, independent producers. Enjoy special mezcals and tequilas as well as food, music, and more!
HOCO Weekend
Summer.
HOCO Weekend, or its predecessor, HOCO Fest have been a hallmark of summer for over 15 years. Come out for the best arts event of the summer. We fire up our multiple stages with numerous live music acts spanning all genres. There are curated activities, art installations, movie screenings, food, and good times everywhere. Nobody does it like HOCO!
Halloweek
October.
Our Nightmare On Congress Street has become a can’t-be-missed event of the spooky season. But the fun doesn’t stop there. Halloweek celebrates the days around Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos with concerts, parties, seance experiences, and tours of the famously haunted Hotel Congress. Book early and stay in one of our Haunted Rooms to really get the full experience.
New Year’s Eve
December 31.
What can we say? Hotel Congress is THE place to be for New Year’s Eve in Tucson. There’s simply nothing like it. There’s a new and amazing theme each year, so no two events are ever the same. If you only go to one party a year, this needs to be that party! Come celebrate and see Congress being Congress at its best!
