Performing the music of this iconic era are Angelo Versace (piano), Scott Black (bass), and Arthur Vint (drums), who bring Jamal’s celebrated repertoire to life in the spirit of the original trio: Ahmad Jamal on piano, Israel Crosby on bass, and Vernel Fournier on drums. Their recordings, including the landmark At the Pershing: But Not for Me, remain among the best-selling jazz albums of all time and continue to inspire musicians and fans across generations.
