—**ALEJANDRO ESCOVEDO**— Alejandro Escovedo’s new album, Echo Dancing, is an adventure in life. No one has really been able to define themselves and their music like singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo. His life in music sometimes feels like a swirl through the sky, where his songs point out all the majesty and mystery of how he sees the world. The sounds he makes take him places that he might not even predict, but once there, greatness always follows. It’s just the way Escovedo is. It has happened over and over for decades, almost like a fateful agreement he has with the cosmos. There is a good chance it cannot be explained, especially by him.

—**DAVE GONZALEZ**— Dave Gonzalez is a preeminent American roots music guitarist. In 1980 he was the founding member of the rockabilly blues band The Paladins. His group would go on to record twelve albums and headline festivals around the world. Endorsed by Fender, the company made a Signature Model guitar for him called the Guild Paladin and Guitar Player Magazine has called him one of the Top 101 Unsung Guitar Heroes. In 2003 Gonzalez, along with vocalist Chris Gaffney, founded the western soul band, The Hacienda Brothers. This ensemble would go on to gain critical acclaim, including a 2007 nomination by the Americana Music Association for “Group of The Year.” It was during his years with the Hacienda Brothers that he cemented a life changing relationship with Muscle Shoals legend Dan Penn. Penn, who produced the first two Hacienda Brothers records inspired Gonzalez to create RattleShack Analog Recording Studios in Driftwood, Texas. In 2023 his solo record Grits ‘N Gravy Vol. 1 marked the first album produced at the new studio. Dave Gonzalez is doing some exclusive dates with The Paladins this year and he is also very excited to be performing two shows in Arizona backed by Mike Hebert and the Kings of Pleasure featuring Alex Flores.
