($20-$30 | 7pm & 9pm Shows) Welcome back alto saxophonist Andrew Halchak as he and his quartet play tunes from Paul Desmond and Dave Brubeck’s classic repertoire! Joining him is special guest Teddy Raven on tenor saxophone!

**Andrew Halchak**

Andrew Halchak, born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, immersed himself in vibrant southwestern music communities, exploring bluegrass, country/western, and swing. In Tucson, he began his musical journey studying the bassoon, saxophone, and later, the clarinet. Andrew earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from Berklee College of Music in 2010, studying under mentors like George Garzone and Joe Lovano. He furthered his education at The New England Conservatory of Music, obtaining a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies in 2012 and then moved to New York City, where he performed and worked at the Village Vanguard jazz club.. Andrew has been a featured artist at international jazz festivals and has performed with renowned groups and artists. Currently based in Portland, Maine, he continues his musical endeavors with the Portland Jazz Orchestra.
