Denali Kauffman Quintet Plays Dave Holland’s “Points of View”

($15-$25 tickets | 7pm & 9pm sets) Trombonist Denali Kauffman returns home to Tucson from Los Angeles to headline a concert at the Century Room with his quintet. The band has prepared music from Dave Holland’s influential 1998 album on ECM, “Points of View” which features the unique instrumentation of trombone, alto sax, vibraphone, bass and drums. A graduate of the Tucson Jazz Institute, Kauffman is currently attending USC Thornton School of Music.
