**Kai Felix**

**Kai Felix has always been surrounded by music. After moving to Tucson Az at a young age, he insisted on his parents getting him a drum set for his 12th birthday. By the time he graduated high school he was already an active part of the Tucson professional music scene. Today he is one of the most sought-after drummers in the greater Tucson area and has worked with notable musicians including Becca Stevens, Brice Winston, Angelo Versace, Jason Carder and many more.**

**Though he is comfortable and experienced in performing all styles of music, Kai’s heart lies with jazz music. He is an active member of the Arizona jazz scene and has studied with some of the most notable drummers in the region including Fred Hayes, Arthur Vint, and Dom Moio. Kai is particularly proud of his involvement in modern jazz and original compositions. His projects all have firm roots in the tradition of jazz but aren’t afraid to push musical boundaries and move jazz forward as an art form.**
