Rhys Montanarello Quartet | The Music of Pat Metheny

($20-$30 tickets + DICE fees | 6:30pm & 8:30pm shows) Phoenix-based guitarist and composer Rhys Montanarello brings his quartet to showcase the music of guitar virtuoso Pat Metheny, focusing on his groundbreaking record 80/81. 80/81 fused straight ahead, free jazz, and folk music into one of the defining albums of the era. Alongside selections from 80/81, Rhys Montanarello and his band will be presenting additional works by Pat Metheny and original compositions influenced by him.
