($25-$35 + DICE fees | 6:30pm & 8:30pm Shows) Grammy-nominated saxophonist, composer, and educator Tim Green is a dynamic and deeply expressive artist whose work bridges modern jazz and contemporary music. Praised by Christian McBride as “a dynamic musician” who possesses everything one could want in an artist, Green has built a reputation as a versatile and compelling voice across genres. His collaborations span an extraordinary range of icons, including Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and many leading figures in jazz, R&B, gospel, and pop. Equally at home as a bandleader or collaborator, Green is especially sought after by top pianists for his sensitivity, rich tone, and ability to elevate any ensemble while maintaining a distinct musical identity.

Based in Baltimore, Green is both an internationally acclaimed performer and a dedicated educator at the Peabody Conservatory, where he mentors the next generation of jazz artists. His career has taken him to world-renowned stages including the Village Vanguard, Carnegie Hall, and the Hollywood Bowl, as well as global tours with superstar vocalist Michael Bublé. As a leader, Green continues to refine his soulful, melodic voice, highlighted in his recordings and his True Melody Music label, which reflects his philosophy of truth and expression through sound.
