Tucson Folk Fest Presents: Songwriter Roundtable

($10-$15 tickets | 6pm doors / 7pm show) The Tucson Folk Festival presents December’s Songwriter Roundtable, hosted by Eric Schaffer. Eric’s guests this month are Peter Dalton Ronstadt and Lex Browning.   

**Peter Dalton Ronstadt** is a fifth generation Ronstadt in Tucson. Son of late Michael J Ronstadt, nephew of Linda Ronstadt, and great grandson of Federico Jose Maria Ronstadt. He plays the bass, guitar, banjo, tuba, and sings. He is one of the Ronstadts in Ronstadt Brothers (formerly Ronstadt Generations) with his older brother Michael G Ronstadt.

**Lex Browning** is a fabulous multi-instrumentalist who has worked as a staff songwriter, session musician and fiddle player for Tanya Tucker, Pam Tillis, and Trace Adkins. He has also worked with Kenny Rogers, the Nelson twins, Quarterflash, and many other musicians of note. Most recently he toured with the legendary folk-rock band Poco, playing lead guitar, fiddle and mandolin. Lex performs with several Tucson bands including Midnight Blue and his own band The Tirebiters.

Raised in the swamps of New Jersey, **Eric Schaffer** performs regularly in Southern Arizona with his band The Other Troublemakers.  Their newly released album “Dry Lightning” has been met with rave reviews.   Eric has been a finalist in the Great American Song Contest, the Passport To Nashville songwriting contest, a four-time Tucson Folk Festival songwriting competition finalist, and the winner of the 2022 Tumbleweed Music Festival songwriting contest.  Eric has performed throughout the US and has opened shows for Clint Black, Blackberry Smoke, Marc Cohn, Lonestar and  Radney Foster.
