— FIRST DAY ON EARTH–First Day on Earth (FDOE) is an interstellar collective of artists, musicians, and other creative earthlings assembled to deliver the purest form of sonic invasion. Their recently released self-titled album was produced on a five year journey across the United States, Europe, and South America, by a network of musicians and visual artists working independent of each other, to harness the power of individual expression on this beautiful planet. The sum of these parts has been described by some as an “internal picking of flowers”, with others defining the album as “theoretically perfect”. It has been said FDOE is more of an idea than a band, rooted in the philosophy we should all approach life as if it was our first day on earth, free of prejudice and full of wonder.
