Tucson’s own Pop Up Rebellion brings a high-energy night packed with all your favorite pop punk anthems — think blink-182, Green Day, Sum 41, All Time Low, Good Charlotte, and more. Sing your heart out, slow dance ironically, and cry a little (or a lot) as we throw it back to the 2000s. Wear your best (or worst) punk prom outfit, grab your friends, and come be part of the rebellion. Pop Punk Prom isn’t just a concert — it’s a full-on pop punk party. Lunar Excursion Module is a Tucson-based noise rock band, drawing from contemporary post-rock and Midwest emo influences. They consist of Luca Cafiero, Rowan Cafiero, Lily Beenken, Aidan Bitner, and Finn Callahan, all of whom wear glasses—but not for long. They’re releasing their third album, New Star Broadcasting Station, and are so excited they could just squeal. Things are going to change for them. Can you feel it?
Featherframe is a 4-piece band from Tucson, Arizona blending shoegaze, alt-rock, and dream pop into a sound that’s both nostalgic and forward-pushing. With dual vocals, layered guitars, and emotionally driven songwriting, their music explores themes of memory, distance, and self-discovery. Lush, loud, and honest — Featherframe delivers a dynamic live experience rooted in texture and feeling.
Chick Adjacent is making music that represents the queer experience, religious trauma, and anyone who hates celery

IN LESSONS
Originating from Southern Arizona, In Lessons came alive in 2018. Blending their styles of Post Hardcore and Emo music, they create a big sound that’s in your face and nostalgic to the roots of their influences. After the pause from the world ending in 2020, In Lessons went into the studio with Beau Burchell (Saosin) to record and produce 4 songs that molded their sound right where it needed to be. This time around, they’ll be celebrating the release of a new single of theirs!

“Good morning. Welcome to Super Love 3. Thank you for being here.” A placeless pop concierge, like a VHS instructional training video, welcomes you to Dorio’s new album. Offering a fully illustrated sound world, Super Love 3 strikingly expands the Austin-based project’s meticulously handmade sonic universe. Wake up in a world of indie pop and electronic elements, pulled from dusty CD shelves, internet archives, and other escapes. It’s the most complete expression of multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Chad Doriocourt’s musical vision yet.
Co-written with core Dorio collaborator Rachel Rascoe, the wildly inventive LP presents a space-age-meets-today meld. Super Love 3 was written during a period spent ordering out-of-press CDs from the late 90s and early 2000s, especially with forms of Italo pop, Japanese Shibuya-kei, and minimalist classical arrangements. Equally indebted to the 90s-does-60s reinvention ethos of Stereolab and Pizzicato Five, Dorio looks to places where influences stack, like a picture of a picture, with unexpected new ideas. On Super Love 3, sprightly breakbeats meet warm acoustic and electric fuzz guitar. It’s a nice place to land.

Spaghetti Cumbia, Los Angeles’ own high-octane Western Cumbia Rock outfit, has been captivating fans with their signature blend of traditional cumbia rhythms, rock, punk, and Western movie soundtrack influences since their 2016 formation. Founded by rhythm guitarist and vocalist Pedro Aguirre, the five-piece band has honed their craft over the years, solidifying their lineup with the additions of co-frontman and percussionist Marcel Campos, lead guitarist Bobby Guerrero, bassist Paulo Paredones, and drummer Adolfo Mercado Jr.
Building on influences from Fito Olivares and Los Mirlos to Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and beyond, Spaghetti Cumbia has crafted a sound that is distinctly their own. As first and second-generation Angelenos, each member brings their own unique style, traditions, and art to the table, resulting in a musical melting pot that seamlessly blends Mexican heritage with rock-style instrumentation, emulating traditional cumbia sounds with guitars, processors, and unconventional elements like harmonicas and ankle shakers.
With a string of successful performances under their belt, including collaborations with Keith Warren of The Addicts and appearances at major events like the Brooklyn Cumbia Festival and “El Velorio” The Day of the Dead Experience, Spaghetti Cumbia’s momentum is now at an all-time high, as the band works towards recording their debut album and expanding their reach through touring, much to the delight of their diverse and growing fanbase.

The Two Lips are a Latina/Filipina Los Angeles-based indie dream pop duo composed of best friends Jewlz and Andrea. Since forming in the fall of 2023, the pair have been writing, producing, and performing music that captures the hazy intimacy of bedroom dream pop, a sound crafted entirely in the comfort of their own rooms. The Two Lips use their music as a vessel for exploring the emotional landscape of womanhood, transforming personal stories into shimmering, ethereal soundscapes.

—FRANKIE AND THE WITCH FINGERS— Los Angeles psych-punk shapeshifters Frankie and the Witch Fingers have spent the last decade mutating their sound into bold, electrifying new forms. Their latest release, Trash Classic (via Greenway Records and The Reverberation Appreciation Society), plunges into a sewer-slick fusion of proto-punk venom, fractured new wave, and industrial grime. Brimming with wiry synths, angular melodies, and grooves that squirm and bite, it’s all delivered with a sly, playful wink. Fueled by relentless global touring and a fierce DIY ethos, the band has shared stages with OFF!, Ty Segall, Oh Sees, Cheap Trick, and ZZ Top, cementing their place as one of the most unforgettable live acts around. Frankie and the Witch Fingers continue to morph, dragging listeners into whatever warped direction their experimental journey takes next.

It’s exceedingly rare to hear something truly original. Something that’s actually breaking new ground, something that maybe we don’t even have words for just yet. Something like MSPAINT. In a time when so much musical territory feels well-trodden, MSPAINT are the exception. On their debut full-length Post-American, the Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based four-piece draw on everything from hardcore, to hip hop, to synth-punk, and beyond to make an unabashedly weird amalgam that sounds as fresh and compelling as it is instantly satisfying.

Join billboard charting artist and born and raised Tucsonan, Lexa Raquel, for her very first EP release at the iconic Hotel Congress! Lexa is excited to share her self titled EP, not only because it’s her first, but also because of the incredible experience she had working with such talented musicians – Chris Peña(keys/synth), Alassane Diarra(piano), Patrick Morris(bass) and Desmond New(drums). Experience their take on a moody, psychedelic RnB with a touch of grunge alongside some of Tucson’s finest – Troy Cov(percussion), Max Goldschmid(trombone), Ryan Wheless(sax), Anthony Gibes(trumpet), Johnathan Black(guitar), background vocals with Erin Anderson(mezzo), Janée Page(soprano) and Sarah Tolar(alto) to transcend the EP live and give you a show you’ll be sad to miss! Lexa is thrilled with the finished product and can’t wait to celebrate with you in the club!
Lexa began singing and writing original music at age 5, but it wasn’t until she turned 16 that she officially stepped into her music career. By 18, shortly after graduating high school, she signed with an independent record label and recorded an album at the renowned Blackbird Studio in Nashville, TN. Unfortunately, that project was never released, and Lexa stepped away from music, putting her dreams on hold.
Over a decade later—after battling self-doubt and anxiety regarding the industry—Lexa is fearlessly returning to her “first love.” One of the most rewarding parts of the journey has been handpicking her bandmates and collaborating through the challenging yet inspiring process of creating new music together. She invited each musician to bring their own style and flavor to the project, all while honoring the vision she held—and they all delivered. Tremendous thanks to Penya Studios for capturing Lexa’s sound and enduring her insane method of production…
After Lexa’s EP debut, she looks forward to returning to the studio with her band to begin work on a full-length album.

Fishbone is a band. Fishbone is Red Hot.Starting in Junior High School as part of the bussing programtransporting students toschools within or outside their local school districts as a means of rectifying racialsegregation, Fishbone were breaking stereotypes. This essentially was the spark that started the bands creative and influential drive thatwould lay the foundation that other bands would follow for decades to follow.Born out of the punk rock scene of Los Angeles, CA, Fishbone came out as a force ofsongs and live energy leaving bands not wanting to follow them. A feeling thatcontinues today.Signed to Columbia Records in 1984, Fishbone released 4 albums and 3 ep’s andtoured the world headlining shows, festivals and leaving people stunned and still oneof the best shows ever seen. A constant statement that still is used today from fans toartists that shared the stage with them. After years of touring and rotating members, Fishbone in 2025is back to their mostsolid line up which includes original members, Angelo Moore (vocals/Saxophone),Chris Dowd (Keys/Vocals)rounding it out withJohn “JS” Williams(Trumpet/Vocals)drummer, Hassan Hurd,Aroyn Davis andthe return of Trace “Spacey T” Singletononguitar. With their last critically and fan acclaimed EP recorded produced by Fat Mike of NOFXthat came out on Fat Wreck Chords in 2023, in2024, Fishbone is getting ready toreclaim their live touring throne, leave the audience wanting more, thinking more, influencing younger bands, and paving the foundation and legacy they have beenlaying for decades. With their latest single “Racist Piece of Shit” coming out ahead of the 2024 Electionsand creating much controversy and praise as Fishbone ahs done for Decades, they willbe following up with their newalbum, “Stockholm Syndrome” coming in early 2025#FuckRacism

Yuno’s full-length debut, Blest, out May 16 on Sub Pop, finds the enigmatic indie-pop visionary transforming the emo-tinged suburban malaise of his 2018 Moodie EP into more expansive, widescreen pop drama — suited for big moves and bigger stages. The kaleidoscopic sound he devised as a millennial hermit in his childhood bedroom in Florida has since broadened his horizons, taking him on tour with Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Superorganism, and soundtracking various series for Netflix and HBO. Imbued with elements of dream-pop, rock, trap, and psychedelia, his eclectic songs serve as bids for love and connection, which especially in the fractured era of social media, have resonated with many listeners who find solace in his vulnerability.

My name is Ryder The Eagle. I was born under the sign of Cancer in the south of France and like the planets predicted, I dedicated the beginning of my life to finding true love. Two EPs, a marriage and a divorce later, I embarked on a “Follymoon”, an incandescent kind of a honeymoon where loneliness meets the folly of freedom.
I traveled across the USA on the Greyhound bus, lugging my microphone along sidewalks and crossings, diners, and traffic lights. I spent two years in London crafting my break-up songs and sang them all over the globe supporting Adam Green, Jonathan Bree, and a few others.
I ended up in Mexico City, where I’m currently living. I’m driving an old Chevy Caprice which I don’t have insurance for. My trunk is full of memories from a past that I can’t let go. One day I went to this Scottish town called Plean, unloaded everything, and wrote nine songs about it.
So if you ever need a ride, I’ve got room in the car now – and we can play my first album on the stereo. Can’t wait to meet you.

—TOPS—TOPS were formed in Montreal in 2011 when song-writing duo David Carriere and Jane Penny decided to join forces with drummer Riley Fleck. Since then they have become one of the most influential underground bands of the past decade, creating a space for sophisticated pop music in the indie world.
Their tendency to opt towards making straight-forward, stripped down and honest recordings lets their pop songwriting shine out in the open. With a heart firmly attached to their sleeves, their songcraft delves into the emotional intricacy of personal relationships, asking questions about power and desire. Riley Fleck’s measured drumming and David Carriere’s trademark guitar licks mesh with Marta Cikojevic’s lush keyboards. All these elements work in tandem and in service of Jane Penny’s unmistakable, wistful voice.
The result of this mixture is a collection of four self-produced records and a handful of singles that cover a range of moods and a complex emotional realm while maintaining a groove and musicality. Soft rock infused pop hits flow easily, surrounded by their signature moody ballads.

With vivid storytelling, poetic wordplay, genre-defying productions, and a beautifully unique voice, Madilyn Mei (she/her) has quickly become known for her innovative indie-folk twist on the bedroom pop genre. Having released her debut album, 3 EPs and countless singles in just over 2 years – all of which written and recorded from her bedroom in Arizona – the 22-year-old singer-songwriter is building a fun, comforting, and magically whimsical world, relatable enough for anyone to immerse themselves within.

—PILE—For a record intended to abdicate rock’s throne, several of the ten tracks finally chosen for All Fiction number among Pile’s rockingest. “Loops” finds Maguire questioning his motives as a songwriter, scrutinizing the border between his lived experiences and the stressors he sings about. Concerns about self-awareness, substance use, and music’s environmental impact infected “Poisons,” which takes cues from the loud-quiet splendor of PJ Harvey. A trip to Big Bend in Texas inspired the Lynchian “Nude with a Suitcase”; “I really like Kris’ breaths, and what Alex did on the Rhodes and Omnichord. It added textures that give this song a lot of life,” Maguire effuses. While global perspectives and personal moments shaped the record’s narrative arc—climate injustice, the addiction crisis, American cultism, and capitalistic overwork, to name a few subjects—Maguire says he’s more confident than ever in letting poignant images speak for themselves: “If this combination of words does it for me, it doesn’t need to make sense to somebody else.”

—S.G. GOODMAN— S.G. Goodman returns from the Western Kentucky bottomland with her latest full-length album, Planting by the Signs, Available June 20, 2025 on her very own Slough Water Records via Thirty Tigers. Composed of songs inspired by love, loss, reconciliation, and the aforementioned ancient practice. Eleven tracks highlighted by the critically-acclaimed and award-winning artist’s singular voice and her penchant for juxtaposing vulnerable folk music with punchy rock ‘n roll, replete with chiming guitars, ethereal atmospherics, and her DIY ethos. Goodman provides a timely reminder that the only way forward is together, and that we must always take into account humanity’s dependence on and responsibility to the natural world.

—JOHN MORELAND—John Moreland is known for writing lines that hit you in the gut, but many of the best moments on Visitor are more subtle. The significance of one of the record’s best lines, from “The More You Say, The Less It Means,” may take multiple listens to fully sink in: “Some folks say and some folks know”. This line sums up John Moreland’s worldview very neatly. It lays out the dichotomy of truth and lies that Moreland has spent his entire career examining, but now more elegantly than ever. On the one hand, there are people who constantly talk (or sing, or write, or post online) without deep thought or reflection – often irresponsibly, even dangerously, and for personal gain. These are the “weary worn-out fools” and “famous false prophets” he lambasted on In The Throes, or the subject of “One Man Holds The World Hostage” on Visitor. And on the other hand, there are folks who know – those who commit themselves to the pursuit of truth and wisdom, and who only say things when they fully know them to be true. In Moreland’s book, the artist’s true calling is to be one of the latter – the “folks who know”. While John Moreland has already earned a spot in the pantheon of the great singer-songwriters of his generation, Visitor confirms his place in that much loftier Hall Of Fame.

Madison holds a fruitful and robust solo career with three self produced EPs and numerous performances and curatorships across the country and internationally. Madison’s distinct vocal and meticulously layered stylings of a capella and self-harmonizing culminate in work that blends the genres of R&B, pop, soul and jazz, all with a sense of softness. Her genre-bending work has led to Questlove dubbing her early sound “soul-appella,” AdHoc to describe her work as “an oasis of serenity,” and The FADER noting how Madison’s “warm harmonies feel effortless.”

—GUERILLA TOSS—Here is what it is like to see Guerilla Toss live: explosive, breathtaking. Kassie Carlson crowd surfs and moshes. She is a force to be reckoned with. High energy and raw, but also thoroughly composed. Guerilla Toss songs are all about hooks and grooves — they make music that basically requires you to dance. The band knows exactly what they are doing. If you’re supposed to dance, they’re dancing too. Jumping around and playing music that is totally caustic, ferociously creative, even a little bit feral. They mess with time signatures, making disorienting moves via all avenues at all times. “Guerilla Toss has a unique danceability to this day,” says Jake Saunders, a long time fan of the band, citing Peter Negroponte’s wizardry on the drums and Kassie’s ability to command a room in a way that almost feels like you’re possessed, bewitched, fearing for your life but also thrilled to be living it. And of course there is Arian Shafiee on guitars — a student of absurdly good and righteous hooks. Communing with this band is a kind of experience that is like: I can feel all the blood in my body. I want someone to cheerfully break a plate over my head. Jan Fontana of Godcaster puts it best. Guerilla Toss is “Explosive, Energetic, and Joyful.”

— THE MELVINS—The Melvins are one of modern music’s most influential bands. Having formed in 1983 Montesano, Washington, the group – founded by vocalist/guitarist Buzz Osborne, with drummer Dale Crover joining a year later – has been credited with merging the worlds of punk rock and heavy music, forming a new subgenre all their own. Over their 40-plus-year career, they’ve released more than 30 original albums, numerous live records, and far too many to count singles and rarities. Recent releases include 2024’s Tarantula Heart, a really good collection of what the Melvins do, what they can do and what they want to do, and Five Legged Dog (2021), an ambitious 36-track acoustic collection that reimagines their heaviest songs alongside covers of their favorite artists. Throughout their discography, the Melvins have collaborated with Jello Biafra, Mudhoney, and Fantômas for individual releases and toured the world many times over. Remarkably, they had the misfortune to be in both Christchurch and Tokyo for their 2011 earthquakes. In 2012, the Melvins completed the “51 States in 51 Days” (50 states +DC) tour, which was chronicled in the film “Across The USA in 51 Days.” The current incarnation of the band is Osborne, Crover, and Steven McDonald (Redd Kross). Previous line- ups included a pairing of Osborne and Crover with Jared Warren and Coady Willis of Big Business, a four-piece featuring the current trio plus Butthole Surfers’ Jeff Pinkus, as well as Melvins Lite, which partners Osborne and Crover with Mr. Bungle’s Trevor Dunn. Sometimes, if you’re extra lucky, one version of the Melvins will open for the Melvins.
—REDD KROSS—In 1979, two school-kids all hopped-up on punk-rock started their own group in their hometown of Hawthorne, Los Angeles (birthplace of the Beach Boys) and soon found themselves opening shows for notorious scene pioneers Black Flag. Jeff McDonald was 15, his brother Steven only 11. But that didn’t stop their group from becoming one of the most remarkable, enduring and unique outfits punk- rock ever belched up.
2024, then, marks Redd Kross’s 45th birthday – an important anniversary for any group whose heart pulses at 45RPM – and the brothers are celebrating the event with a veritable multimedia extravaganza. There’s a memoir, Now You’re One Of Us, due in November, author Dan Epstein telling the group’s story in the McDonalds’ unmistakable (and occasionally contrary) voices. A brilliant rockumentary, Born Innocent, directed by Andrew Reich, will premiere later in the year. Most exciting of all, a new album – an eponymous double-album, no less, packed with 18 of their sharpest, most addictive songs yet – will hit the racks, courtesy of In The Red Records. These years of joyful service to rock’n’roll have seen Redd Kross evolve into a killer pop-rock concern, dealing in dayglo power-chords, choruses as tall as skyscrapers and a lyric sheet thick with acid couplets and arch pop- cultural references their loyal following will gobble up like quaaludes.

Glitterfox doesn’t chase the algorithm — they follow instinct, community, and a kind of magia (Basque for magic). Formed by longtime creative partners Solange Igoa and Andrea Walker, the Portland-based band has built their career the analog way: a van, a map, and unforgettable shows stitched across towns like constellations. Their rise has been defined by raw connection and fearless self-expression, with music that fuses garage rock grit, new wave shimmer, southern Americana soul, and a dancefloor pulse – all tangled with heart and heat until what emerges is unmistakably, inimitably Glitterfox.
Now joined by Eric Stalker and Blaine Heinonen, Glitterfox is more than a band – they’re chosen family, held together by sound and the invisible threads that music always knows how to weave. Whether launching Portland’s annual Glitterfest as a wedding reception or channeling the messy middle of life into something unforgettable, Glitterfox’s gift is their transparency, their defiance, and their freedom – sung loud

—BIG RICHARD—Since exploding onto the Colorado scene in 2021, the four women of the supergroup Big Richard have been on a wild ride. Although they showed up to their first gig armed with homemade puff paint t-shirts, a load of crass jokes, and all dressed intentionally like Stevie Nicks, from the first few notes of their tight vocal harmonies, dazzling string virtuosity, and clever arrangements, no one had any choice but to take them seriously.
Determined to be more than a one-night stand, Big Richard hit the road. They slapped as hard as possible on the festival circuit, worked up their stamina on nationwide headlining tours, and left a wake of die-hard Big Richard Heads across the country swooning for their honest songwriting, chilling vocals, and fiddle-driven barn-burners.
Fueled by a steady diet of gas station snacks, Big Richard is currently touring their debut full-length studio album Girl Dinner, following a whirlwind year that included performances on PBS’ the Cavern Sessions, NPR’s World Cafe, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Delfest, Bourbon and Beyond, Jam Cruise, and New Year’s Eve at the Ryman in Nashville.
They often refer to themselves as the gremlins of the bluegrass world, and the gremlins are: platinum recording artist Bonnie Sims, who rips the mandolin and smells like Snoop Dogg’s sock drawer; road dog Eve Panning, who toured extensively with the fiddle band Barrage and has trained her dog to murder on command; bassist Hazel Royer, plucked from the sidewalk in front of Berklee, can probably communicate with crows; and Dr. Joy Adams, who would just rather be skiing.

I Hope We Can Still Be Friends floats in a liminal plane between timely and timeless, its minimalist instrumentation elevating Johnson’s affecting voice to new heights. Recorded at Unknown Studio in Anacortes, Washington, the record was produced by Sera Cahoone — the Seattle-based singer-songwriter Johnson describes as a “soulmate sibling.” Overdubbing took place at Seattle’s Crackle & Pop!
For the sessions, Johnson assembled a small band of friends including Abbey Blackwell (bass, backing vocals), multi-instrumentalist Sam Peterson and Cahoone (drums, backing vocals), who created a familial tone on the already intimate album. I Hope We Can Still Be Friends, with its sharp observations and stirring personal insights, holds space for both intense reflection and emotional release. You may laugh, or cry or both. In this sense, the album is powerful medicine — a way to both expose yourself to and inoculate yourself against the ugly, absurd, existential and heartbreaking. At its core rests a basic truth that is often difficult to remember or accept: Happiness wouldn’t exist without sadness as its counterpart.
On his uncanny ability to so clearly see and then encapsulate humanity in all its messy glory, Johnson offers this core memory, drawn from his childhood on Camano Island in the Puget Sound. “I was raised on a bluff,” he says. “I’m not trying to make it sound dramatic, but I did have a sweeping view.”
