First Round

First Round is a monthly lineup of songwriters who have written a tune on a 4-day deadline for this show, based on a prompt drawn from a hat. Host Laura Jean (Laura Jean Band, Loveland) brings together a lively night of music, where the process is as much a part of the show as the finished product. This will be the fourth installation of First Round, and, for the first time, the performers are all duos.
