Kleindale is a Tucson-based band built around the songwriting partnership of Will Joyce and Matias Naiman-Molina. Drawing on blues, roots, R&B, jazz, and pop, the band delivers an Eclectic Americana sound with a maturity that belies their age. They’re equally at home laying down Jimmy Smith-esque B3 organ under wailing leads as they are stripping back to intimate Randy Newman-style piano ballads laced with vocal harmonies.
Emerging from Tucson’s quiet but vibrant music scene, Kleindale has already caught the attention of veterans of the craft — collaborating with bass legend Harvey Brooks (Bob Dylan, Miles Davis, The Doors). September 27th marks Kleindale’s live debut, celebrating the release of their self-titled debut EP, here at Hotel Congress.
