($5-$10 | 7pm & 8:30pm Sets) Multi-instrumentalist Marco Rosano leads the Swamp Donkeys Traditional Jass Band for the most swingin’ night of jazz!

The New Orleans Swamp Donkeys Traditional Jass Band specializes in “Traditional Jass,” also known as Hot Jazz and Early Jazz. The band’s focus on early greats like King Oliver and Louis Armstrong has created a raving, global following. Truly, this band spans more than a century, and while they are very often called upon for their utterly authentic approach to the traditional, they’re called upon equally as often for their brass band and progressive adaptations.

***”Hot Jazz Wednesdays”** take you back to the roots of jazz with music from the 1920s and ’30s. Every 1st, 3rd & 5th Wednesday, Swamp Donkeys West perform music from New Orleans. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays are reserved for the Hot Club of Tucson, which performs French Jazz Manouche in the style of Django Reinhardt & Stéphane Grappelli.*
