Recipe: Desert Prickler

Stop by Maynards Market to enjoy our new agua fresca, the Desert Prickler! Looking for something a little stronger? Add tequila to spike it into a Desert Prick! Want to make it at home? Here’s the recipe:

Ingredients

• 0.5 bottle of Topo Chico (regular, available for purchase in the Market)
• 0.5 oz. Desert Forager’s Prickly Pear Shrub Syrup (available for purchase in the Market)
• 1 tsp agave syrup
• 1 orange slice
• Desert Prick: 1.5 oz tequila

Preparation

1. Fill a pint glass halfway with ice.
2. Mix Prickly Pear Shrub Syrup and agave syrup. For the Desert Prick, add tequila to the syrup mix.
3. Pour syrup mix and Topo Chico over the ice and stir gently.
4. Garnish with orange slice and enjoy!
