Tiger’s Tap Room
TIGER’S TAP ROOM
Arguably the most famous watering hole in Tucson, the legendary Tap Room has been a Tucson landmark since being the first bar operating after prohibition.
The favorite bar of famed western artists Ted De Grazia and Pete Martinez, the Tap Room now houses the largest collection of Pete Martinez artwork in the world. The Tap Room has been a “must stop” from a wide array of notables including Lemmy from Motorhead, Lawrence Fishburne, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Fiona Apple, Chris Novoselic of Nirvana, and many others. Renamed “Tiger’s Tap Room” in 2017 in honor of longtime bartender Thomas “Tiger” Zeigler, who has been serving thirsty patrons since 1959. Although now semi-retired, Tiger still can found greeting guests, sharing stories and occasionally pouring the perfect pint of cold beer.
