**Brandon Sanders**

A vibrantly gifted jazz drummer, Brandon Sanders is known for his hard-swinging, yet sophisticated approach to acoustic post-bop jazz. Raised on the West Coast, he first garnered attention in the 2000s after moving to New York City and playing with artists like Joe Lovano, Peter Bernstein, and Esperanza Spalding. In 2023, he made his solo debut with his album ***Compton’s Finest*** which landed on **Downbeat Magazine’s** **Best Albums of 2023** list.
