Century Room Closed (Cozy Cole’s Birthday)

Closed in observance of Cozy Cole’s birthday! Born on October 17, 1909, William Randolph “Cozy” Cole performed with Red Allen, Louis Armstrong and Lionel Hampton, among others and led his own bands. He is perhaps best known for teaching the great drummer Philly Joe Jones! He passed January 9, 1981. Pour one out for Cozy!
