Doc Holladay Organ Workshop presented by the Tucson Jazz Music Foundation

(Donations Accepted at the Door | 4pm Doors | 4:30pm Workshop) Celebrate the arrival of our Viscount Legend Soul Organ with an educational workshop by organist and key player Doc Holladay! Holladay, a Tucson-local and expert organist, will demonstrate not only the way it is played, but also the working mechanisms behind the instrument. Entry is free with any donations accepted at the door for the Tucson Jazz Music Foundation.

***Our Viscount Legend Soul Organ was designed by the late great Joey DeFrancesco, and comes complete with the Leslie Speaker. The Viscount Soul organ is a modern recreation of vintage Hammond B3 instruments, which were made famous by jazz organists like Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, Larry Young, Brother Jack McDuff & Dr. Lonnie Smith.***
