**Eliana Joy**
Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Eliana Joy captivates audiences with an expressively emotional sensitivity. Inspired by her eclectic childhood of collaborative piano and classical trombone, Eliana studied music education and euphonium at Arizona State University.
When lockdown began, limited access to instrumental practice led her to immerse herself in the music of vocal icons like Elis Regina, Ella Fitzgerald, and Beverly Kenney. Eliana moved to Brooklyn and swiftly established herself in the jazz scene. She developed a charming approach to interpreting standards, combining her influences to create delightfully unexpected sets.
Now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Eliana makes hand-thrown ceramics and performs in outrageously southwestern locations like tourist trains, wine gardens, and mineshaft taverns. She aspires to earnestly create and collaborate for the rest of her time on earth.
