Space Travelers Union Presents: Pineross

($10-$15 Tickets + DICE fees | 8:30pm Show) Space Travelers Union Presents: Pineross

Pineross is the musical alias of Kevin Larkin, a sound and multimedia artist based in Tucson, Arizona. Drawing on roots in Celtic, bluegrass, and world music, Larkin combines field recordings, sound design, and performance art to create immersive, atmospheric experiences. His genre-spanning career includes touring the Deep South in a string band, composing ballet scores with the art-folk ensemble Chimney Choir, performing suspended from trees at the Breckenridge International Festival of Arts, and developing an interactive, solar powered sound installation as Artist-in-Residence at Great Sand Dunes National Park. In 2026 Pineross will be releasing a series of ambient collage recordings derived from seasonal live performances.

This performance is presented as part of the ongoing Space Travelers Union Presents residency at the Century Room.

Space Travelers Union is a creative-musician collective formed in the Arizona desert through the meeting of composition, improvisation, and electronic signal. The project has reached international audiences through BBC6, Radio France’s FIP, JazzFM, and Gilles Peterson’s WorldwideFM, with additional recognition from Bandcamp’s “New and Notable” and YouTube Music’s Jazz Hotlist.
