($25-$35 + DICE fees | 6:30pm Show | 16+) Danny Sinoff has spent more than 20 years performing the Great American Songbook in clubs, concert halls, and festivals from Southwest Florida to New York City — The Apollo Theater, Smoke, Chris’ Jazz Café, and beyond. A pianist, baritone vocalist, and bandleader, he keeps alive the tradition of the singing jazz pianist: two instruments in conversation, the piano holding time and harmony as the voice tells the story.

His forthcoming album Make Someone Happy — produced by Ulysses Owens Jr. for Cellar Music Group — brings those decades of work to focus. This evening draws from that repertoire and beyond: well-known standards alongside hidden gems, with the stories behind the composers and the songs. Straight-ahead jazz, built on swing, spontaneity, and direct communication with the room.

W/ C U SOON, FEATHERFRAME, IN PARALLEL WITH YOU

Originating from Southern Arizona, In Lessons came alive in 2018. Blending their styles of Post Hardcore and Emo music, they create a big sound that’s in your face and nostalgic to the roots of their influences. After the pause from the world ending in 2020, In Lessons went into the studio with Beau Burchell (Saosin) to record and produce 4 songs that molded their sound right where it needed to be.

($20-30 + DICE Fees | 6:30pm & 8:30pm Shows | 16+) Hometown hero Kevin Ravellette returns to Tucson this summer from his studies at Texas State University to lead a night dedicated to one of his biggest influences on the saxophone, Donny McCaslin! Donny himself has graced the Century Room stage on two occasions playing new material, but this show will focus on Donny’s music from the 2010 album “Perpetual Motion”, which in part inspired David Bowie’s “Black Star”. “Perpetual Motion” delves into angular post-bop, blistering polyphonic funk, backbeat-driven R&B, and delicate, ethereal balladry. Come find out why Paul always says “if its good enough for Bowie its good enough for you!”

CLUB MUSIC FOR PEOPLE WHO HATE CLUB MUSIC.

No EDM. No Top 40. No bottle service. Just breakdowns.

A night dedicated to the music your favorite club won’t play. From Turnstile and Title Fight to $uicideboy$, Xavier Wulf, Night Lovell, Lil Peep, and more, GRAVESHIFT brings mosh pit energy to the dance floor.

Headlining the night are two names who helped build Arizona’s underground from the ground up:

DJ GOTH has spent years at the center of the state’s alternative music scene, touring nationally while remaining a staple of the Arizona alternative scene. Known for opening and performing alongside artists like Black Smurf, Wifisfuneral, Xavier Wulf, Night Lovell, and countless major touring acts, he’s become one of if not the most recognizable DJs in the region’s underground community.

SOUNDS BY POSI has been instrumental in introducing underground culture to Arizona audiences for over a decade. Long before many of today’s biggest alternative artists were household names, Posi was bringing them to the state and building platforms for the scene to grow. His resume includes helping book the first-ever Arizona appearance by $uicideboy$ and being involved in bringing Lil Peep’s first-ever live performance to the stage—moments that would later become part of underground music history.

Together, they’re bringing a soundtrack built from years of shows, tours, DIY venues, packed rooms, and underground culture.

THE MUSIC YOUR FAVORITE CLUB WON’T PLAY.

MOSH PIT ENERGY. DANCE FLOOR SETTING.

HEAVY MUSIC. NO COMPROMISES.

Welcome to the GRAVESHIFT.

Composer, songwriter, & master of harmony MaryAnne Muglia brings an excellent night of music to the Club Congress!

This time she’s joined by Alec Andre & Jeffrey Gordon Evans.

MARY ANNE MUGLIA:

Arizona-based composer, arranger, pianist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist MaryAnne Muglia is an award-winning, genre-defying artist whose work lives in the space between tenderness and playfulness, darkness and light. Blending emotional honesty with lush harmony, her music invites listeners into a world where feelings aren’t just heard, they’re held.

As a songwriter and recording artist, MaryAnne creates music that feels both intimate and expansive. Her debut album, Try Hard, blends indie-folk lyricism, jazz sensibility, and pop clarity into a sound as rich and full as the life it reflects. Like a mosaic, her songs piece together fragile, fierce, and deeply relatable stories, offering quiet wisdom rooted in presence and authenticity.

MaryAnne’s expressive artistry has also found massive reach online. Her performance videos and behind-the-scenes harmony breakdowns have garnered millions of views and built a devoted audience of over 200,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, inspiring listeners, singers, and educators around the world.

Beyond her work as a songwriter and recording artist, MaryAnne moves fluidly between jazz and choral worlds. Her contemporary choral and vocal jazz works are performed by ensembles worldwide, with music published by Alfred Music, Hal Leonard, Graphite Publishing, Anchor Music, and Shawnee Press. She is also the founder of Red Letter Daze, a professional vocal group with over 200,000 followers and multiple CARA recognitions.
